The horseman behind the service
Meet Robert O’Dwyer.
A lifelong connection with horses shapes every procession Robert plans with a family or funeral director.

Experience with horses
From Dublin horseman to a dedicated funeral service.
Robert was reared around horses and later trained as a farrier. He built O’Dwyer Horse Drawn Funerals around that lifelong experience and a respect for the role horses can play in a family’s final farewell.
His black Friesian horses are prepared for ceremonial work, while the hearse and harness are presented with close attention to detail.
Families and funeral directors speak directly with Robert, from the first question through to the arrangements for the day.
A personal conversation
Speak with Robert about the procession
Tell Robert the date, place and procession you are considering. If a funeral director is already helping, they are welcome to call too.
